Kraft Card & Note Envelopes

Nobody remembers the card. They remember whose handwriting was on the front.

These get handled more than almost any other envelope you own. They get carried across a room, propped on a mantel, opened in front of people, and — more often than you'd think — kept in a drawer for years. Birthdays, thank-yous, a note tucked into a gift bag, a few folded bills for a grandchild.

So we made one worth keeping.

They measure 3⅝ × 5⅛ inches — note-card size, with room for a gift card or folded bills behind the card. The pointed flap folds down the way a proper envelope should, and the gummed seal closes it for good.

The warm kraft color does something a white envelope can't: it makes whatever card you chose look better. Bright colors pop against it. Muted cards look considered. And your handwriting across the front — a name, an age, "open me first" — looks like it belongs there.

They also take a pen properly. That sounds like a small thing until you've addressed twelve Christmas notes on cheap stock and watched your good pen skip and feather. The surface is smooth and uncoated: ballpoint stays crisp, and ink dries without ghosting through the back.

No printing, no cartoon balloons, no glitter that ends up on the carpet. Just good paper, so the thoughtful thing you did looks thoughtful.
